About Us

The Ohio Laborers’ District Council is an affiliate of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), representing 22 Local Unions and over 20,000 skilled Laborers statewide. We support signatory contractors with reliable manpower, industry-leading training, and benefit solutions that strengthen project performance and help contractors grow.

Through our Ohio Laborers’ Training Center, we deliver industry-leading apprenticeship and continuing education programs that prepare members for today’s high-demand work, including heavy highway, utilities, pipeline, site development, concrete, and emerging energy sectors.

Our Locals and supporting funds ensure contractors have access to resources for growth, including a safe, skilled, and job-ready workforce, ready to meet project demands and build Ohio’s infrastructure.
